"where the action is"

Boy Scout Troop 80 is based in Mountain View, California, and attracts its members from Mountain View, Los Altos and Palo Alto. The Troop focuses on providing the Boy Scouts the opportunity to acquire practical and leadership skills.

Our Troop was established in 1958. Our honor roll contains 70 past members who have achieved the Eagle rank, and the Troop provides the support for all Scouts to achieve this rank if they choose for it.

Lord Baden-PowellYummie!

Boy Scout Troop 80 is an exciting and action oriented Troop that fosters the Patrol Method originally developed by Lord Baden-Powell, the founder of the Boy Scouts. Through the Patrol Method the boys run their own program, plan and execute their meetings and outings, and learn by their successes and failures.

Our Troop is part of the Pacific Skyline Council, Stanford District, of the Boy Scouts of America

If you are interested to learn more about our Troop, we have an open invitation to our weekly meeting on Monday night (see below for details), whether you are a Cub scout or not. And if you'd like to join our Troop, there is only one condition: that you look forward to have FUN!
