About Us
Boy Scout Troop 80 is based in Mountain View, California, and attracts its members from Mountain View, Sunnyvale, Los Altos and Palo Alto. The Troop focuses on providing the Boy Scouts the opportunity to acquire practical and leadership skills.

Our Troop was established in 1958. Our honor roll contains over 70 past members who have achieved the Eagle rank, and the Troop provides the support for all Scouts to achieve this rank if they choose for it.

Boy Scout Troop 80 is an exciting and action oriented Troop that fosters the Patrol Method originally developed by Lord Baden-Powell, the founder of the Boy Scouts. Through the Patrol Method the boys run their own program, plan and execute their meetings and outings, and learn by their successes and failures.

Our Troop is part of the Pacific Skyline Council, Stanford District, of the Boy Scouts of America and is chartered by the First Presbyterian Church of Mountain View.
